Ukulele workshops at the Overjam Festival 2023
You are cordially invited to ukulele workshops at the Overjam reggae festival in Tolmin, under the guidance of Tajana No Stres and assisted by Gaja Germavc Pušnar.
The ukulele is a four-stringed instrument that comes from Hawaii. It is quite easy to start playing the ukulele, as the basic chord grips that can be used to play many songs are quite easy to master. Playing rhythm, however, is a little more challenging and takes practice and perseverance, which in turn replenishes the soul and strengthens your skills.
In this workshop we will learn about the instrument, consolidate our knowledge and gain new experience of group playing. The workshop is suitable for individuals aged 6 and upwards, whether you've played the ukulele before or not, there's a line for everyone to play, whatever your skill level.
The workshop is designed to strengthen brain function and hand motor skills, master rhythm and stimulate happiness hormones.
Together we will conjure up a joyful ukulele musical atmosphere.
Tajana is looking forward to meeting ukulele enthusiasts from last year's Overjam ukulele workshops.
Tajana Stres is one of the main drivers of the awakening and preservation of the ukulele instrument in Slovenia through her ambassadorship for the Flight ukulele&Music max shop and as the mastermind and implementer of the Ukulele NoStress project.
She teaches the instrument, conducts ukulele workshops and founded the NoStress Ukestra, the only ukulele group in Slovenia present in the cultural field, where she is also the lead vocalist.
Information on which days and times the workshops will take place at the festival will be posted here in the first half of August.
We would appreciate voluntary contributions.
