Tajana Stres

She is a graduated teacher of classroom education, a manager (trained in the international Discover Management program at the IEDC - International Business School Bled) and a spiritual masseuse (trained in classical, shiatsu and reiki massage and completed the spiritual school of Vili Ravnjak). In primary school she passed the basic classical music school and as a child she had the desire to become a singer, but over the years she was also attracted to other fields in which she wanted to train and work. In the last 5 years, however, life has led her back to music. Since 2020, she has combined her knowledge of management and music and has become one of the main drivers of the awakening and preservation of the ukulele instrument in Slovenia through her ambassadorship of the Flight ukulele & Music max store and as the mastermind and implementer of the Ukulele NoStress project.

Her pedagogical drive and joy for working with children is still very much present, which is why she teaches the ukulele individually and runs ukulele workshops. Tajana founded the NoStress Ukestra, which is currently the only ukulele group in Slovenia present in the cultural field, where she is also the lead vocalist.
She has been singing since the age of 7, combining ukulele and singing, while expanding her horizons by singing in choirs, jam sessions, bands and duets.

She also writes original songs in Slovenian, Croatian and English and also arranges her own songs with the ukulele. In the field of music and with her own lyrics she collaborates with other musicians such as - Igor Bezget, Tina Sovič, Beno Soršak, Borna Šmid,...
