Tajana Stres
Tajana Stres is a musician, educator, and creative experience designer specializing in the ukulele. Through her unique approach, she blends music, creativity, and human connection, working both in Slovenia and internationally.
Tajana does not offer traditional music lessons. Instead, she designs structured yet playful experiences where even complete beginners can play a song together in a short amount of time. Her work goes beyond learning an instrument, she uses the ukulele as a tool to reduce stress, unlocking creativity, boost self-confidence, connect people, create a shared sense of achievement, and strengthen fine motor skills.
She is the founder and leader of Ukulele NoStress, a platform and methodology that represents more than a music program — it is a movement centered around playing without pressure, creative flow, and community-based music making.
She is also the founder and leader of NoStress Ukestra, currently the only active ukulele ensemble in Slovenia present within the cultural scene. She also performs as the group’s lead vocalist. The ensemble combines the vibrant energy of collective music-making, strong stage presence, and a fresh, contemporary approach to ukulele performance. Over time, rehearsals have evolved beyond musical practice into a space of connection, relaxation, and almost therapeutic gathering — where music becomes a way of building community, mutual support, and shared joy.
Tajana: "At heart, I am an explorer—frequencies have a great influence on our actions, and what you think about yourself and others is also a frequency, so what you think is very important because it shapes your life... I believe that our gods are the elements—water, earth, air, and fire, which is why every person feels most at peace and connected with themselves when they are near water, fire, earth ( + grass, flowers, trees, stones, sand...), and fresh air, because that is when an individual's cells are connected with their being."
